There is a movie coming out called ‘Dilemma’. I don’t know anything about it – other than there’s a line in the movie where the lead character (Vince Vaughan) calls electric cars ‘gay’. ‘So what?’ you may ask. The ‘so what’ is that some feminine looking guy on CNN had a sissy fit about that line in the movie. He raised a stink and the movie company pulled the line from the movie.
This story comes on the heels of another story about a gay college student who was ‘outed’ by some of his ‘friends’ and ended up killing himself. The media and the left are equating (1) the line in the movie, (2) this gay guy killing himself, and (3) the bullying of others. Obviously these ‘friends’ should be put to death by sodomy. However, the fuss over this ‘electric cars are gay’ comment is wrong on many levels. Let us count the ways.
First, in this era of political correctness, all of the pansies on the left are on the lookout for anything for which they can claim they are offended. This is another one of those stories. These politically correct weasels are equating this comment to bullying. The reality is that these people have made careers out of doing what they are screaming about now. Want proof? If someone said that a conservative Senator’s daughters were prostitutes, that they’d like to push a former conservative vice-presidential candidate down the stairs, that they wished Rush Limbaugh would die, or that 9/11 widows give the best hand jobs, none of these liberals would say anything. How do I know? Because these same phonies who now are claiming that people shouldn’t be bullying other people, and who are blaming conservatives for the bullying, actually said those things and no one in the media or on the left made a peep about it. But Vince Vaughan makes a joke about electric cars and the liberals go nuts.
Second, where is the outrage about causing harm to gay people who are conservative? When a gay person is conservative and gets harassed or bullied, the leftists are nowhere to be found. A documentary recently came out where they identified numerous conservative politicians, and claimed that they were closet gays. In other words, the purpose of the documentary was to ‘out’ those evil conservative gays. Can you imagine if a conservative filmmaker outed a liberal gay? The left would be rioting in the streets.
Third, on the one hand this sissy at CNN is offended about ‘electric cars being gay’. On the other hand, the guy repeatedly called people who oppose socialist government policies, ‘teabaggers’ (straight or gay people who put their testicles in another’s mouth). Where was his ‘sensitivity’ then? Where was his holier than thou attitude about bullying then? Fourth, why can’t these people simply grow a sense of humor. Since the days of the Neanderthal, when Oof made fun of Dorf’s man boobs, to guys making fun of other guys being wimps around their wives, to guys laughing at themselves in self-deprecating humor about everything from the size of their penis to the horrible shot they hit into the water on 18, it was never a problem. Now, in this age of the metro-sexual girlie man, all of a sudden we can’t even make a joke about a car being gay.
Finally, Vince was right. Electric cars are gay. Now go see this movie just to send all of the humorless hypocrites a message; and demand that the studio put that scene back into the film. And for you pathetic girlie men out there, go grow a sense of humor.
