Guns - Enemies of the Second Ammendment

There is a war going on.  It's not the war on terror.  It's going on right here at home. 

It's the war against guns and the second amendment. 

The enemy is strong and defiant.  It's is well financed.  It will never quit or go away.  They seek to terrify the public through misinformation and demagoguery.  It's a war our country can't afford to lose.

So who is the enemy?  They are many.  They are politicians, actors, musicians, and others.  They are cowards and ignoramuses.  They are friends and neighbors.

Thankfully, we are stronger at the moment.  However, our enemy seeks to slowly engulf us and quietly disarm us through incrementalism.  They seek to gradually implement what appear initially to be moderate policies, until they achieve their goal of totally disarming the American public.

Here are a partial list of our enemies.

Dianne Feinstein

Make no mistake about it. They don't want to make you safer by passing some gun safety laws. They want your guns - all of them.

Senator Feinstein is a staunch gun control advocate. Despite her stance, in the 1970s, she obtained a concealed firearms carry permit, and carried a handgun with her. A CCW permit was then rare in California, and was the only such permit in San Francisco. At the time, she was the target of a terrorist group that had shot out all the windows in her home.

Feinstein said on CBS-TV's 60 Minutes, February 5, 1995, "If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them . . . Mr. and Mrs. America, turn 'em all in, I would have done it." Enough said.

Barack Obama

Although he is now trying to run from his anti-gun past, Barack Obama is a staunch gun control advocate and enemy of the 2nd amendment.

Here are four of the many facts in his record of opposing gun owners:

Obama voted to allow the prosecution of law-abiding citizens who use a firearm for self-defense in the home.1

Just this year, Obama supported Washington, D.C., laws banning handguns and making self-defense illegal—in your own home.2

Obama supported a 500% increase in federal taxes on guns and ammunition.3

Obama voted to ban hundreds of rifles and shotguns commonly used for hunting, including single-shot, over-under and side-by-side shotguns.4
